About us
The Launceston Mountain Bike Club (LMBC) is a non profit club established to serve the needs of Mountain Bikers in the greater Launceston area and to further develop interest in all facets of this fast growing sport. We hold regular DH, XC and Enduro events, along with social rides, fun events, skills days and trail building days.

New Members join here
- The system first wants you to register with the site
- You then get an email with login details
- Login and then join us by “upgrading” your membership!
Renewing Members go here
- You must first generate a password to use the system
- It will send an email to the email address MTBA has on record
- Email will have username and password to login
- Login and renew
What you need in order to participate
You will need to be insured to participate. That comes easily via an MTBA (Mountain Biking Australia) membership - either:
- participation licence ($5 and only for non-racing events);
- day licence $20 (any age);
- annual licence - form - ($100 per year. Covers all race and non-race events. Includes $10 club fee).
LMBC Membership
- Current for 12 months from the date you join
- Senior $110 (inc $10 club fee) - Includes an annual MTBA licence
- Junior (13-18) $70 - Includes an annual MTBA licence
- Childrens membership (3-12) $30

CA and BMXA licence upgrade
CA and BMXA members must provide a copy of their CA or BMXA licence with their application and have at least 3 months remaining.
- Current for 12 months from the date you join
- $50 - Includes an annual MTBA licence
- Membership Form
- Optional Club Fee of $10 in addition to the $50 licence fee
